Meet the Team behind Next Phase Electric
Greg Reeve
My passion for the electrical trade began back in high school at Thomas Haney Secondary, where I found myself fascinated by the school’s electrical infrastructure. That early curiosity sparked a journey that led me into a rewarding career in the electrical industry.
In 2014, I moved to the Okanagan to attend the Pre-Apprenticeship Electrical Program at Okanagan College. From there, I began my apprenticeship, working with a range of companies across Penticton and Vancouver. These years gave me broad exposure to all aspects of the trade and helped me refine my skills.
In 2017, with a strong foundation under my belt, I launched Relay Data & Electric Ltd. Starting my own business was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I learned a great deal—not just about electrical work, but also about the realities of running a small business and growing as a person.
Along the way, I began collaborating more and more with Kyle from Wine Country Electric Ltd. We quickly realized that our strengths complemented each other, and that by joining forces we could offer even greater value to our clients. That partnership gave rise to Next Phase Electric Ltd.—a company built on shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to delivering top-tier electrical services across the region.
Kyle Gratton
I started my Electrical Journey in 2014 at Okanagan College in their Pre-Apprenticeship Electrical Program. I went on to work for two established electrical companies in Penticton over the next 7 years. My knowledge and skills grew as I worked alongside journeyman and other co-workers. My work during this time included large commercial projects, day to day service calls and control panel builds for our local ski hill.
In 2021, I took the leap and started Wine Country Electric Ltd! I had always known I wanted to work for myself. Although It was tough, the reward was much greater. The last two years, Greg and I reconnected, started sharing bigger projects and lending a helping hand when needed. It only made sense to combine our skills and resources and start the "Next Phase" of our Electrical Journey! We are now moving forward with our new company Next Phase Electric Ltd that will bring the same quality service and client satisfaction as Wine Country Electric Ltd and Relay Data & Electric Ltd did!
